"Pretty Good, But Not Always Consistent"
I’ve had a few cakes from here, it can be a bit hit or miss. Some have been really nice and fresh, while others were a little dry and not as enjoyable. When they get it right, it’s great, but the quality seems to depend on the day.

"Tasty cupcakes, just a little shifted"
I ordered cupcakes for a small birthday get-together, and from what I remember, they showed up right on the day promised. The box was still cold and sealed properly, which I appreciated. A couple of the cupcakes had moved around a bit, so the icing wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t a big deal and nothing was actually ruined. They tasted really good, and overall I’d order again. I’d just hope they pack them a little more snugly next time.

"Pretty quick customer service, with one small nudge"
I had a minor issue with my order, nothing dramatic, so I sent them an email and expected to wait a while. I was already making coffee and mentally preparing for the usual back-and-forth, because customer service can be a whole thing sometimes. But they replied quickly and got it sorted without making it feel like a big production. I did have to follow up once, which is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5, but overall I’m happy with how it turned out.

so the cake was really tasty and looked great too, but I’ll be honest, it felt a little expensive for the size. I’d probably buy it again as a treat, just not something I’d get all the time

"Good When They Have It"
I like this product and usually grab it when I see it, but it’s not always stocked. I’ve stopped by a couple times after work, usually when I’m already out running errands or picking up dinner, and the shelf was empty. Not the biggest deal, but it would be nice if it were available more consistently

The custom options were decent overall, and ordering was easy enough. I just wish there had been a little more flexibility with the colours and the messages, because it felt slightly limited.

I ordered cupcakes through the website, and overall it was a good experience. The pages were simple to navigate, and checkout didn’t feel complicated, which I always appreciate when I’m just trying to place a quick order. The only annoying part was that the site slowed down a bit when I was choosing the delivery time, so that took a little patience. But once I got through that, the confirmation came in quickly, which made me feel like everything was handled. I’d say it was mostly smooth and I’d use it again.

One of the cupcakes was missing from my order, which was a bit annoying at first. Compared to some places where you have to chase customer service forever, they replied the next day and refunded it without any hassle. Not perfect, but they handled it well.

"One Cupcake Took Me Out"
I got a box of cupcakes thinking I’d casually have a few, but wow, one was more than enough. It was so filling I had to tap out like I’d just finished a full meal. Definitely rich and satisfying!

I do like Hummingbird Bakery, and to be fair the cupcakes are usually nice. It’s just that every time I go in, it feels like I’m looking at the same few flavours again and again. You’d think they might switch things up a bit more, but maybe they’re just playing it very safe. Still a good spot if you’re after a classic cupcake, just not the most exciting if you were hoping to try something new...

I ordered from Hummingbird Bakery because I needed something for a friend who doesn’t do dairy, finding decent dairy-free cake can be such a hassle sometimes. Their site was easy to use, and they did have a few options, which was a relief. The cake actually tasted really nice too, not dry or sad like some free-from cakes can be. My only gripe is that I really wish there was more choice. It’s a bit frustrating when you’re trying to cater for someone and the options are still so limited. Still, overall I was happy with it and would order again.

"Pretty cakes with really neat decoration"
I’m mostly judging from the look of them, so maybe I’m getting a bit carried away, but these cakes really do look lovely. The colours are without being over the top, and the decorating looks clean, tidy, and nicely finished.
The cupcakes especially caught my eye because they look cute and perfect for a birthday or just a little treat. I can’t say for sure about the taste, obviously, but based on the presentation alone, I’d definitely be tempted to order.

"Really good cupcakes, especially the vanilla"
I picked up the red velvet and a few cupcakes from Hummingbird Bakery they were so good. The sponge was really soft, the frosting wasn’t too much, and the flavours actually came through properly. I liked the vanilla one way more than I thought I would, which was a bit surprising because I usually go for... anyway, I’d definitely order from them again.
